Senior Business Process specialist

MediaMarkt Magyarország, the market leader of retail company is currently looking for a new colleague in the position of

Senior Business Process specialist.

Az Ön feladata:

What you will do:

  • Business Processes
    • Document existing business & administrative processes in stores and head office as well
    • (Re)design business processes in accordance with the guidelines applicable to the area with the help of managers/ team leads/ process owners for the area
    • Regular review of documented process for applicability, compliance, efficiency
    • Continuous improvement of processes based on learnings taken
    • Support the rollout of new processes
    • Support the compliance and sustainability of newly designed and rolled out processes
  • Program management
    • Lead, control and follow up different projects at the same time – owning the project documentation, agenda, escalation process
    • Make sure that regular meetings are set up, held and the projects are progressing
    • Own the business case – together with the relevant function heads
    • Support that all projects are implemented right first time
  • Framework for internal controls
    • Perform / support in regular self-assessments on the design & effectiveness on internal controls
    • Support department managers / process owners in introduction of new processes / compliant controls
    • Follow-up and report findings to management
  • Risk Management
    • Regular interviews with responsible personnel on possible corporate risk areas
    • Reporting & follow up on identified risks and measures
  • Business Continuity
    • Develop a business continuity plan together with responsible departments for key processes and systems based on the past findings
    • Regular review of the plans, instructions for adequacy, timeliness.
  • Key contract for Department Risk Management & Internal controls at the parent company.
  • Promote compliance & sustainability within the organization
  • Support legal/ compliance officer in the roll-out of guidelines

Az Ön profilja:

You are the perfect candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Accounting/Finance is a must
  • 3-5 year relevant work experience
  • Project or Program management experience is an advantage
  • 2-3 years internal or external audit or relevant consultancy experience is an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English is a must, German in addition is an advantage
  • Working knowledge/ experience with process optimalisation/QM methodologies (like Lean six-sigma) is an advantage
  • Analytical skills; sound Excel knowledge, basics in Power Point
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Process & system oriented; problem solver
  • Open minded, dynamic, strong personality
  • Willingness to take initiative and seek challenges
